Thorn is a gamebreaker in PvP.
Ridiculous, Trials of Osiris is absolutely unplayable unless you have one, look at the teams going 9-0 and I guarantee you that's what everyone's using as their primary, sickening. Remove this gun or nerf it. (I have gotten over half a dozen sets of exotic bounties, probably about nine and still no drop)

Then, with how many players use that [i]or something else really effective[/i] if it's a gun you don't like being shot by you'll ask for a nerf on that one ? No. Games had enough nerfs. Go do the thorn bounty, or use a gun that's effective at range or (shocker) outsmart your opponent. Nerf baby CRYHARDS wanted auto rifles nerfed, now the whole of auto rifles are below average. Nerf baby CRYHARDS wanted shotguns nerfed, now the only stand out shotguns are cried about for nerfs. Pistols were cried about for nerfs by CRYHARDS and now the standout "Last word " in that category has nerf babies crying for a nerf on it. Every time you cry for a nerf, you're putting your own selfish wants before an entire community of players. If you want Bungie to lessen the effectiveness of a weapon make a poll so the community your nerf affects can weigh in for Bungie to see the actual voted numbers. Unless you do that, you're just another selfish little CRYHARD whining for a nerf at the expense of an entire games community with [b]a dream[/b] you'll have more victories if everyone can't use 1 gun. You're kidding yourself. Go play a different game. Stop whining to manipulate ours.

I use jewel solar and invective for infinite ammo. The thorn is challenging but that's like any other exotic they all have strong traits. Adapt to it or use it.

Thorn is easy to counter I use thorn and still can lose pretty easily, use red death, or take cover or change your strategy. Also heavy ammo helps, plus always get the first shot, and use snipers, shot guns, and fusion rifles. So many counters

I no for a fact that you don't need it to go 9 and 0, however I do see it a lot. It doesn't need a nerf it needs a perk change on the poison. Other guns need a buff.

One of the single BEST PvP weapons in the game? Last Word and Thorn are both equally broken. Just in different ways. Last Word is Mid-Close range and Thorn is Mid-Long. Thorn users don't like when you get up in their face, but they also probably have a shotgun. So the best course of action is to either invisible then Last Word or Snipe. And yes. I have the Hawkmoon and am defending Thorn. Do I think it's powerful? Hell yes. But that's kinda what RPG'S are about. This isn't just an FPS.

sorry, not my team.... i use mida..., what is important is stay somewhat close to each other, if you got hit by thorn, back off call for your team mate to back you up.

It took them a very long time to actually upgrade the damn weapon to make it even usable/viable for anything and now, you want to scream that its bad because you don't know how to counter-play it? Common man get off the forums with this garbage and find something else better to do with your time please. Like the guy before me said and made a very valid point, the Red Death is just as or even more lethal in PVP than Thorn is, just with the healing it does when you kill someone. Not to mention the amount of power plays you can do with the Red Death. Just do us all a favor, please stop with this.

Nope, i saw a lot of players using different primaries for ToO such as mida, bad juju, three little words, and others and they went 9-0.

Never really been one to say something is OP but it does kill me while using fist of havoc even with eternal warrior or using the perk to be tougher while using foh. But still one to two shots and dead. So....

Even though I have one and dislike playing against people that have a thorn I don't think it needs a nerf honestly if anything if they try to appease people complaining about it make every round have a high chance to cause poison not a guarrentee but honestly it's fine the way it is if you know how to use cover . I just despise PvP in general so I really have no reason to complain

Anyone who's been killed by a Thorn clearly doesn't own a Red Death, the Health regeneration immediately counteracts the Damage over time, guaranteeing a kill if you get your shots in.

Making others weapons worse doesn't make you better, you just will get killed by something else.

I don't see the reason to whine about it, just use it yourself if you think it is too good. If bungie sees that nearly all people use thorn they will nerf it.
