[BUNGIE] Trials of Osiris & Prison of Elders Info
Greetings all -- We've seen reports of players expressing concerns with certain aspects of Trials of Osiris and the Prison of Elders. [b]If you're having issues or have any questions, please refer to the information below.[/b]
-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot][b][u]Trials of Osiris & Prison of Elders FAQ[/u][/b][/url]: Have some general Trials of Osiris or Prison of Elders questions? This is the place to start.
-[b][u]Trials of Osiris Emblem[/u][/b]: We are aware of emblems not making it to the Postmaster. Be sure to leave at least one emblem slot vacant. Thank you for your patience while we investigate. Note, you are eligible to earn this emblem again following the weekly reset.
-[u][b]Mercy of Osiris[/b][/u]: If Mercy of Osiris is purchased after you've already received a loss, the buff will be applied to your next loss. If Mercy is purchased after receiving your second loss, your next loss will be forgiven, but your Trials Passage will be marked as complete and need to be turned in for a new one. We are aware of this issue and currently investigating.
-[b][u]Prison of Elders Class Item[/u][/b]: This is awarded the first time you loot the large chest on any Challenge difficulty.
-[b][u]Prison of Elders Emblem + Shader[/u][/b]: One of these should be awarded each time you loot the large chest on the level 35 Challenge mode. This is on a weekly reset. You will be eligible for the other item the following week. We are aware of players not receiving these items and are currently investigating.

1 ReplyI went 8-0 in ToO and on the last game we were winning 3-1 and your server went down and gave me a loss. I suggest you figure this shit out before I put destiny's reviews on blast on every social media site I have and my youtube channel altogether amounts to about half a million people. I didn't just spend hours playing a game so that your stupid -blam!-ing servers could -blam!- me out of everything I was working for!

1 ReplyCan we just take a second to discuss the fact that getting booted counts as a loss even if you have a mercy active? I've already had two flawless runs ruined because I got booted in the last few matches and both times I had a mercy active. It isn't my fault that I got booted and the mercy should definitely save me from that. Didn't even take any losses otherwise, the mercy is still active on both characters.

4 RepliesI would also like to draw attention to another issue, which is that losses are given at times where they shouldn't be. If you get disconnected because of a bad server connection or some DDoS'ing cheater, you shouldn't get a loss. This is very similar to the issue in FIFA games which caused people to get unfair losses because of the server. It was very frustrating there, but it's even worse here where you need to keep a clean passage card to get to the Lighthouse. Some people have the skill and put in the effort and deserved it, but they weren't able to because of how the losses are calculated. Please fix this. A possible solution is that quitting/disconnecting doesn't give you a loss, but it takes away one of your wins. This way, you are still penalized if you deliberately quit so that getting a flawless record doesn't end up being a fest of "quit if you are losing". Players who are unfairly disconnected, whether due to connection issues or DDoS attacks, still have a chance to get a flawless record. Unfortunately they are slightly set back, but this is the only real fair solution I could think of that wouldn't allow people to quit scott-free.

Me and two of my friends are one win away from going perfect in the trials and getting to unlock the special chest when two of us were disconnected from your terrible servers or some dbags ddosing and we had the mercy of osiris and it gets ignored. We really get penalized and denied the chance to get the chest?

I've seen many posts and heard many things talking to other guardians along the way. Can I get real clarification on the matter? I have 3 34's different classes. When I beat skolas this week for the first time I got ship and shader. I did not on my warlock or Hunter. So I grinded for hours and hours for those keys for nothing. I only got a queens weapon I have multiples of (3). I can't see bungie giving rewards ONLY for the first character you do it on. Why in hell would they do that? So I've heard there is a glitch and it just isn't giving rewards of ships or shaders on random basis. Is this true and will we be given the items later for our hours of grinding skolas on ARC BURN? I have a feeling we will not be compensated for all the time we put in and will just be made to do it again next week. But what then if the shader and ship doesn't magically pop up? How much of our lives should be wasted before we get what we've earned. And yes, before you ask, YES I had open slots for ship/shader/emblem and appropriate space for anything else that may drop. I still got no ship or shader on my 2nd and 3rd win over skolas on different characters. Help!

Would like to ask why i bought all 3 boons lost 1st game then won 9 straight games with 2 friends and when i tell my friend to go to the lighthouse alert pops up saying i dont have access because the boon didnt remove my 1st loss but my friends boon removed the same loss therefore i was not able to join them in the lighthouse even though we bought the same boons all together went 9-0 together yet i my boon didnt activate check my games and recents for trails of osiris proof is there i would like some sort of explanation to why this happened not easy going 9-0

I've never gotten the class item for the warlock and I have opened many of the big chests. And yes I had open spaces for class items. Is this a new fix or am I missing something?
