Xur should sell keys without doubt

Or maybe 5+ keys in the house of wolves strike for nightfall, drop rate the same as the rate of ascendent matierial

I think having someone at the Reef sell them would be a good idea, but they'd have to be pricy and you could only buy a max of 2 or 3 a week

1 ReplyAlthough many people believe (not saying they're wrong) keys should be available for purchase, Xur would not be the one to sell them since he is an agent of the nine, and not for the queen. Petra or Variks should be the on selling them (if they are sold). Possibly for royal amethysts or tokens. Maybe for a large amount of glimmer, since glimmer is not in a short supply anymore (until bungie nerfs it).

3 RepliesThe problem is, the chest has a very high chance of dropping exotics and bungie doesn't want people to buy 50 keys and open it 50 times in a day. What they should do is, keys should be 100% guaranteed when you complete the 34 and 35. There isn't really a point doing the 35 without a key because you miss the shaders, ships, emblems etc. Most people won't care for the PoE weapons unless you're a collector because you can now Reroll weapons, most of the perks on the PoE weapons are garbage. Dreg burn on the rocket? Nty.

Im not expecting one every time but damn the drop rate for them is aggravating. Going through a whole prison of elders event just to watch others open the chest in front of me and get something makes me not want to play PoE UNTIL I can go in there with a key for a chest. PoE is a lot of fun but instead of playing it I am camping out in Skywatch grinding.

Xur should not sell keys, but Variks should, either that or we should get guaranteed Keys from Petra's bounties.

I have found if you do the lvl 28 poe you get two shots at a key and they seem to drop more often in the prison then on the planets. Good luck man

14 RepliesThe Treasure Key situation needs to be fixed fast. Bungie got rid of one grind for another...and those keys are frikking impossible to find. And yes, I camped out at the cosmodrome and did that chest 5 times for hours...no keys. Making me not want to play.

6 RepliesI grinded and farmed for keys over the weekend for 20 hours and got zero keys, I am a hard core player but I would say selling them wouldn't be a bad thing if they cost say 20 motes of light, to make it still reasonable for casual players and a reason for hard core players to keep doing the prison of elders, because as of now it is just a slow way to farm strange coins and motes of light.

4 RepliesI don't know if it will be the solution but Bungie must guarantee at least one or two keys at week. If it not it will be the dead of PoE and HoW. I've been farming for hours without any success. I've not get any key from a chest since the update to get them from wolves and I think it's not fair.

Nope. People aren't gonna have to do any work for treasure keys, and Xûr's thing is exotics anyway

I don't know the solution but trying to get them as of now is nothing but aggregating, PoE will not have the replay value they hoped if they can't find a way to entice us to get in there more than once per difficulty.

We should be able to get 1-2 keys per week guaranteed. This does not mean we cannot still grind for them. But for people who don't have time to spend 8 hours a day farming chests, we need a solution.
