Hey mbmanu,
Sorry to hear about your connection issues. I recommend you try a couple of things...
1. Restart your router and close down the Destiny application
2. Clear your cache: https://www.bungie.net/7_How-do-I-clear-the-cache-on-my-console/en/Help/Article/12539
Try those and let me know how it goes :)

Ok, thanks. Have you tried looking at this Network Troubleshooting Guide? It has info on how to setup your network to work best with Destiny: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930 If you follow the set up listed in that article it may end up fixing your problem.
