Glimmer Farm List
I personally prefer the Omnigul strike.
A lot of people swear by exclusion zone.
Anyone else got a decent glimmer loop ?

Running dragon strikes. Pop a consumable and go. Then at the end you either get another consumable or 200 glimmer (which I put in my vault to save past 25000). Then you get rare engrams for weapon parts and armor mats. Then it moves you right into the next strike.

The loot cave on venus is pretty good if you have two warlocks with obsidian mind. Constant nova bombs and glimmer *evil laugh*

13 RepliesBest one so far. Follow these steps 1. Gather 6 people that all want to glimmer farm 2. Load up Vault of Glass 3. Ignore Vault of Glass and go to the beginning of nexus strike 4. Activate blue polyphage when the little war begins (kinda like in skywatch) where vex spawn non stop. 5. Have max glimmer in 20-30 minutes

Pop codes, juju kill first wave quick as possible. Switch to rocket launcher. Run to middle by left bunker until second ship drops the first two enemies. One second after the first two hit ground I blink up and nova bomb left gold bar cabal (try to throw nova bomb while gold bar group of cabal are just about to land) and while still way up in the air fire carefully placed rocket at right side group of gold bar cabal asap. Only three cabal left. Let them kill you or waste a rocket. Rinse and repeat. Timing is key. [spoiler]this is guaranteed the fastest way[/spoiler]

So i just run around and blast them...takes me about a minute and a half per run, but im reading below and see nova bomb warlocks doing three runs in that time? I need to give that a try Any video on those runs guys?

I never farm for glitter since I have shards stacked up for days :D.

Exclusion zone is my preferred area, can rack up 10k of glimmer in not much time using a consumable. Ishtar Cliffs seems pretty good too always yellow bar enemies and a Minotaur spawning.

A good way to farm is also in VOG. At gatekeeper cp. if u have that.

No one mentions the Sword of Crota checkpoint just as you reach the indoor area. There's 4 give majors in that room that can be killed in under half the time and hassle that it takes you to kill the 8 majors in Exclusion Zone. And they don't jet pack away!!!

I like just helping friends with nightfall, a little less repeating and you can work on other bounties like Eris, Vanguard, and leveling weapons or armour.

16 RepliesEdited by Mucke: 7/13/2015 6:38:45 AMVoG Hard Mode. Dismantle all raid gear and guns. Take shards and spheres to the speaker and trade them for 200-250 glimmer a piece. You should get about 12-15k glimmer per run when you count in the extra boss glimmer. A good run takes less then an hour. Should be more fun then farming that piece of shit mission.

if your on playstation do the undying mind strike and pop a vex glimmer boost(cant remember the name right now) at the start and just b4 the end. the final boss calls in like 3 waves of ultras. there is a section where you dont get glimmer tho cuz people would farm it too hard.
