I think this is a very good guide. I am close to getting my last two factions pushed up to the edge. Nine chances at HOW gear, plus six more way to buy gear (200 Vanguard and Crucible marks per character) should mean that I have a decent start to the HOW. Very excited for the new content.

I think I'll start doing this. Just like playing but being a little more aware of where you stand.

You should do the nightfall before cashing in on any xp. For example, commendations will be worth 312 with Radiant Light.

I've done everything, even max glimmer and vanguard/crucible marks. But did you see those new faction cloaks tho!?:D I have everything from dead orbit so ima put that rep from packages toward new monarchy ^.^

Faction leveling part doesn't make sense. I'd much rather get has many commendations has possible before they take them away. If you payed attention you would know they are worth 250 each. That's without the nf bonus. 10x250= 2,500. Every 10 comms is worth a faction package.

Common mistake, cryptarch packages arent timestamped, and are completely random, they will give HoW engrams if obtained before the DLC drops
