Bungie must remove scope glint from No Land Beyond, scope glint is pointless in a weapon without scope.
-
That's the least they could do to make no land beyond a better weapon as well as being able to equip it in the secondary slot
-
Remove scope glint Decrease reload speed Keep ammo reserve where it is Remove magazine(one round only in magazine) Replace mulligan with last round. Have the master perk do 5x damage on majors in pve

I dont really care; I just wanted to comment; whatever Bungie decides to do with NLB; It will always become a great exotic shard when I see it lol dismantled 6 now; makes great shard for my other exotics :)
-
I want them to stop giving them to me, do I really need 5 NLB's?
-
-
Agreed
Bungie must remove scope glint from No Land Beyond, scope glint is pointless in a weapon without scope.
I propose we get rid of all weapons in destiny! And then replace them all with the No Land Beyond! Also we should delete all clans unless they change their clan names to variations of No Land Beyond! Examples would include: Empty Land Faraway and Barren Field Long Distance Hell, just change the games name from Destiny to No Land Beyond! Bump if you agree
-
It needs a lot more improvement than that: -Remove scope glare. -Replace Mulligan with Unflinching. -Increase reserve ammo to at least 36. -Increase speed of bolt-action animation. If they do all that, then No Land Beyond will become a much more practical weapon, especially in PvE.
-
No Land Beyond is best, I agree. And more ammo
-
no land beyond is a tier 4 weapon not only the scope are pointless the weapon itself are pointless is garbage for pve and pvp the bolt action is really low it dose less damage than the other sniper rifles and you pretty much gonna miss shots becuase the iron sight move so much away from your target for basic i dont really recommand to use it at all it case you are exotic collector is not gonna be a problem for you
-
Disagree. While you are attempting to inject a logical reason behind removing it, there is a balance necessary to have it. It serves a warning that someone is ADS with a sniper. Since NLB is in that category, it gets the red dot as well.
-
No bungie needs to add ping when last shot fired to enhance war relic scheme would use for everything just for that...PING.
-
I kinda like the gun. Makes me think of Enemy At The Gates (awesome movie). Something Id want changed is the 'can be equipped to primary' to actually be an option and not forced. I wouldn't mind using it as my sniper here and there.
-
Agreed it is a major oversight along with its excessively slow reload. Even the novice user of a bolt action can move faster.
-
Make the rate of fire 1shot/second, and drastically increase impact, and there you go!
-
I think it will take more than that make this weapon worth it. They made this weapon this way to allow those you want to replace the primary with secondary. I know they want to ensure it no being op but everything they did is overkill. Slow rate of fire, horrible designed sight, motion causing the sights picture to move is just overkill. Also the fact that its dps or even damage is horrible for pve ( which is kinda sad for such a awesome looking gun) is just to much. No land beyond feels like it was designed for a snipers who primarily want to snipe instead we get a gun that is designed as a punch line to a joke (which was not very funny at all and is very annoying when considering it is one of the most sold exotics by Xur turning him into real dick).

Make it shoot dildos. Instant money game seller.

Edited by Roboknees16: 5/7/2015 3:30:42 AMBump. Definitely need to remove the scope glint and make it more common in other snipers. It's awesome to not know someone else is sniping and then get killed. And the ability that their head can be behind a wall and I still die. Idk if it's lag or what but it sucks.

Edited by Deneios: 5/7/2015 2:44:28 AMRemove the stupid zoom from the iron sights, increase the bolt action speed to 1.5shots per sec and give total of 4 magazines of bullets remove the masters or change it to something else then it could be viable weapon now its just a gimmick with no use. The animation is funny when you have titans in power armor taking so long to pull the bolt.

Edited by Squall Knight: 5/7/2015 2:40:08 AMHere's the final outline for what I found to be the best and most complimentary weapon adjustments. -Remove the glint -Reduce the sway. -Reduce range for more impact -Increase stability -Replace mulligan with Unflinching. -Decrease the bullet chambering time. -"The Master" perk instead increases damage after every shot landed on the next shot fired. This will stack up to twice. - Adding to the Master perk armor piercing rounds that stagger.
Body shots with the NLB in crucible should start at 148. "The Master" perk increases the damage from 148 to 172, then to 200 via " The Master" perk. This also becomes helpful while taking down vehicles
I have an article regarding other weapon changes. If your interested please check it out. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/117004290/0/0

I've tweeted deej and sent emails to a response of "It works as intended" so don't think it will happen. I would love for it to not have scope glint and get a bolt action speed increase but it won't
-
I just think it should do a ridiculous amount of precision damage. Like the equivalent of icebreaker with solar burn. Also no scope glint.
