True competitive pvp would consist of the following. Remove any of these modifications and you end up with the same joke that is the crucible now. No heavy. No supers. No exotics. Primaries only. No radar. Start with no special ammo, and heavy ammo spawn is replaced with special crates, which spawn twice a match. Only snipers allowed in special slot. Reduced bullet magnetism and auto aim. TTK doubled. And guns retain accuracy while in the air. I'd play that sh*t all day.

    TTK doubled is perfect. I would say it takes more skill to kill someone when your TTK is higher as you have to focus on aiming and not shooting your opponent first. Low TTK is for COD or CS:GO (CS:GO is cool because its realistic but COD is just a horrible cater to the casuals game). Primaries only with special ammo dropping on the map instead of heavy is something I can agree with :). Only snipers would be a no, I hate shotguns but if the ammo is limited as you said to twice a match then why make them snipe? Guns retain accuracy in the air with handcannons right now, its just bungie are too stupid to do it with the rest of the weapon types :S, I agree though. No radar, yes. No Supers, yes, if we're wanting competitive then why give the shit players the potential to get free kills?

  • Wait, so you agree with double ttk, but you say low ttk requires more skill? I'm confused. And I said only snipers in special because we're focusing on increasing the skill gap as much as possible. Shotguns and fusion rifles decrease the skill gap and give easy kills. Snipers take the most skill and should be used as power weapons, like heavy.
