Honestly, my life lesson would be this. I have certain prejudices..none of them racial. "Plenty of ignorant ass white, brown, yellow, purple and green muthers out there. They're ignorant people. Not ignorant races of people. If you're white, uneducated, unmotivated and overall self-perpetuated to be...then by all means you're the common day term used for that stereotype, like wise if you're any other crayon out of the kookoo box." - My buddy TaterNugz's thoughts on Racisim. Mine. Very close. It's 2015 people...next revolution is close, might be years..world is going to shit and hardly anyone notices or actively cares. 2 RepliesThree little words can change your entire view on life and those around you. I didn't understand why I was being pushed so hard to do well in school. I felt like I was being assaulted and heavily criticized. But when I was comforting a friend, she asked why I hadn't given up on her (she was a mess). I uttered three little words: "Because I care." At that point, I realized I was being pushed because someone cared about me, and wanted me to do well and never give up.

I never stood out, never had a girlfriend, never hung out with the cool kids, and was never noticed. I now know after years of being me, it is my moment to shine, to be seen, to be loved. My story begins as me being a child in a small house with two older brothers. They always ignored me and never asked for my help, even though I offered. I went through school being shy, trying to fit in. I had a crush on this one girl named Hannah. She was beautiful, and smart. I couldn't stop thinking about her everyday. I was too scared to ask her out, and never got the chance to. One day I decided to finally be brave enough to tell her my feelings for her. I looked for her to tell her, until I finally found her in this old hallway in our school, kissing another boy. I watched, and they didn't see me, because their eyes where deeply connected together. I ran. I didn't know where to go, and there were tears coming out of my eyes as I ran through the school. I hid in between two vending machines the whole day and cried. I was a loner, and my heart was broken. I tried to be nice to everyone, but no one cares if your nice, they care if your cool or rich. I didn't understand how the world treats people who don't fit in. My name is Ben, and this is my story. Never be afraid to tell someone you love them, or you might be to late. Be courageous.
