This doesn't apply to the Crota's End raid. ONLY Normal Crota drops raid heavy weapons and raid special weapons. People still do it because they are after a specific weapon. I personally do normal then hard because id like another black hammer for my other two characters. Plus some people still want replenish health helmet when you pick up an orb. I have done normal and then hard and ended up getting two because I got one on each difficulty. Now they are upgrading old VoG gear and weapons people will probably want to get them back, or at least the old 30 light gear they dismantled because they thought it was useless at the time when Dark Below arrived. I dismantled a VoG time-piece pulse rifle because it was the lower 300 attack but now I want it back, I also got rid of the fusion rifle for the same reason so id like another one for when you can upgrade them.
