I am asking you to change the subject. I personally don't care if the subject stays the same. In the meantime, let me ask you something. The Imperial Arms. They are not cliché by any means. It sets the premise quite well, in my opinion.

You're basically saying weapons is what the show does well. Every anime has interesting weapons. Even non-fighting anime like Psycho Pass, which has a gun that blows people up.

I am saying that it is one of the things they do well. Also, it doesn't matter that a lot of other animes have interesting weapons. Some animes don't even have any weapons, but that's not what makes the show great. One more things about the Imperial Arms is that it sets a tone to one of the plot points. Just like how in Gurren Lagann--Which I highly recommend over Akame ga Kill--the Mechas set a tone to the main plot.
