The best story Bungie has ever written was Halo's story.
What happened to them? They gave us an epic, now they give us shit.

Bungie had books to go off from with halo lol. They didn't invent that story from scratch

To bad halos story sucked and was in pieces at least for the first 3 or so games. Halo 1 was complete trash and boring. Halo 2 I will say is good but it totally cuts off at the most important part. You know why? Bungie said they messed up an couldn't make the whole game in time. Then halo 3 had nothingggg to do with halo 2. After playing the MCC it just saddens me to think people actually think that story is good. It's just as good as destiny. And I'm not saying the game itself is bad, just people exaggerate how good the story actually was

The story is good. And Halo 3 did had something to do with Halo 2. Halo 2 ended with Master Chief in the Dreadnought and Halo 3 started with the Master Chief falling out of the Dreadnought. Makes perfect sense.

Yea that's true but if they had kept up that intensity for the start of the game they really could have had something there. After halo 2 I was extremely hype and ready to play 3 and I was met with boring mission after boring mission. Hugely disappointed.

Yeah. A lot of their team stayed back with 343, but I hope that a few remain with enough vision to fix their mess.

The amazing potential Destiny had was most likely wiped away when they went for a CoD copy and accessibility over good story on top of their solid gunplay. I imagine the executives, who could care less about games, are going to see the money as a sign of success and just shit out another replica with a different name and new weapons.
