I don't level down when I go to the tower. If I get a random invite, I won't look at their character or their level at all, I'll simply ignore them.
If someone takes the time to send me a message and actually tells me what they want my help for, I will respond, and sometimes join depending on the situation.

Same, I always check the invite however because if it just says "play destiny" I just ignore it, but if they take the time to right a message, normally they actually need help or just want someone to play with rather then sending invites to everyone in the tower
