NLB is better than you think
What are your thoughts on [b]No land beyond[/b]. Good? Bad? Terribad?
It's to the point where this gun is no longer a handicap for me to use.

I usually only use it on my last few PVP games for the day (coupled with a FR), and the funny thing is I often have my best game of the day using NLB. Just watched your vid. You have given me a new respect for....Felwinter's Lie. Wow that sniper just has crazy range! I don't think NLB is the primary for u though, I think your best load out would be Universal Remote/Felwinter's Lie :)

Not bad. Just the highest learning curve of any weapon in Destiny. Takes mad skill to wield effectively.

I use it to complete my sniper headshot bounty. I get mad when a HS on someone with a flameshield up doesn't kill them.

1 ReplyBruce Lee could kill fifty men with a frying pan but that doesn't mean that its an ideal weapon. You said yourself "its no longer a handicap" for you to use it, admitting that the gun sucks but you have adapted as a player to make the most of it. You could go into the crucible and wreck people with a blue gun you got from the Cryptach too, No Land Beyond isn't a great weapon. I think so little of it that improving my opinion is still going to land it in the "this gun blows" column. I'm sorry but I couldn't finish the video, the blinking, shotgunning blade dancer thing is just meh.

4 RepliesMontage videos are worthless. I could cut together clips of people getting run down in a Sparrow, it doesn't mean it's good as a weapon. When I see an uncut video of someone repeatedly getting consecutive kills with it, then maybe NLB will have some clout.

2 RepliesAs a battlefield player I never thought no land beyond was bad. In battlefield, bolt action snipers were plain deadly and the rifle type that most scouts preferred.

No Lands Beyond is terrible in all senses. It scopes it way too much even though it has iron sights, and for being a super badass of the galaxy; our characters struggle to pull the bolt back on it. If they lowered it's zoom amount and gave a fair increase to reload speed, then it might be more fun.

NLB has potential, but it really really needs to give you more ammo in reserve. Mine is finally fully ranked and I did a story mission, Shrine of Oryx on Heroic, with it as my primary. Kept running out of ammo for it. That is annoying.
