Hello everyone MET4LLICA here, and iv'e got an idea for a new Social playlist that everyone will love!
Now we all know social slayer, 4 on 4 games of Slayer, Slayer BR's [i]....Snooze[/i]
But, every now and then you get the "Specialty" game of Rockets or Snipers and everyone always enjoys those!
So...thats what im proposing to you and the rest of the communitty!
[i][b][u]A playlist devoted exclusively to "specialty" Games![/i][/b][/u]
A list of possible Game types:
[i]Swords
Hammers
Shotty Snipers or Team Snipers
Rockets
Grifball
SWAT Magnums perhaps?
Team Shotguns
(please leave any Game Types you think are good and i will add them!)[/i]
USER IDEAS:
[i]Fiesta[/i]
[i]Nades & Spades[/i]
[i]3 Ball[/i]
[i](Idea by me) Phantom Pistols, 1 life per round and 5 rounds, 1 shot kill and plasma pistols only[/i]
[i]Living dead perhaps?[/i]
[i]World series, see bottom of page 5 under flav92's post for details[/i]
[i]Tower of Power, (would need a custom map)[/i]
[i]Nuttin' but nades, (see middle of page 7 for details)[/i]
[i]Covie Carbines, oposite of team BR's, plasma rifle and carbine start![/i]
It would be 4 on 4, or 3 on 3. (Just like TS except Social!)

MET4LLICA, i will give you props for liking the most kickass band ever, but i don't want to see this specialty playlist stuff, frankly, I always veto hammers, sometimes swords, and rockets, cuz frankly their -blam!-, and all shottys gets lame real fast, especially with lag. the only reason i wouldn't veto swords is cuz i use bumber jumper (which kix ass) but what i want to see is big team battles on small maps, like back in halo2 when you would get the occasional BigTeam midship an Lockout matches. oh my god, those were the best only problem was starting grenades. but beside that, there needs to be a ONE SIDED playlist, seeing as they rarely come up and great maps like High Ground are absolutely butchered with symetrical game types when they are made for one sided ones.

That is a good idea but its not that original. I'm sure something along these lines has flown into their meeting room before but Bungie just doesn't wanna do it. They'd be putting themselves through too much trouble when matchmaking is fine just the way it is.

Unless you want a game type that doesn't allow melees and assassinations for points (Nades and Spades does).

i think they should make a sticky playlist. the only way to kill somone is to stick them with grenades. that imo would be the awesomestnerist!

Be carful with what you are adding to the list. I was serious about what I said before (about consistency in a playlist). This should stay a "speciality playlist" and not a "custom games" playlist. 3 Ball, Living Dead, and Phantom Pistols are more in the objective/custom games category and not the speciality category. Heres another one. Titled: World Series, Game: Hammers, Weapons: Hammers, Rockets, no stickies, no frags, Maps: no big maps, only maybe Blackout, Ghost Town, Epitaph, and Guardian with a higher chance to get Blackout and Ghost Town because it will be a great way for people to get their achievements. So this benefits everyone, even if they hate any kinds of hammer games, they will play it to get their achievements, and people who do will have fun playing it.
