That's why it's such a joy to use

Actually just went 26-10 with it

Nice!!

It's a "-blam!- your sniper" machine
-
No, it's a headshot machine and is a very useful weapon in pvp
-
Ha! Ha! Ha! HA!
-
Not PvE?
-
It varies, if you're in a raid, nightfall, etc with lvl 30 and above enemies it tends to feel underpowered compared to other weapons, but lvl 28 and under its a beast

That's all I needed to see. I'll pass on it then. If it can't do much in a raid against tougher enemies then it'll just end up in my collection of exotics that I don't use

Edited by jareids: 4/26/2015 2:55:42 AMThe MIDA isn't about overpowering your enemies. It's almost more about controlling them. You have so much control with it. It may not do a ton of damage, but you can still one hit level 30 acolytes, and 2 hit level 30 vandals, cursed thrall, etc. you just need to be hit precisions. But the real value comes in the staggering rounds. It's hard for enemies to do anything when here constantly being tossed around by your bullets. I'll literally use it to corral a group of enemies into one spot by alternating shots on enemies to keep them or drive them into place while using the movement speed to jump around and circle them. Once they're where I like them I'll come in with a nova bomb or fists of havoc or even a well placed lightning grenade and wipe them all out.

Give me a random situation and give me the choice between using my exotic slot on the MIDA or my Gjallarhorn, and I'm taking the MIDA all day. I feel like I'm in god mode with that thing.

Same here any time I'm scared that Ima die I know I can literally run away with the MIDA and be fine.
