Disagree with you. There are plenty of ways to balance it all out.
1) Trading between clan members only
Must trade exotic for exotic/legendary with legendary
2) Only can make 1 trade per weekly reset.
3) Have to be an active member of the clan for at least 1 month (this way people just can't join a clan, trade a gun, and then leave the clan).
By limiting how often you can trade it would prevent the guy with 10 ghorns from taking advantage.
4) Or maybe have an event once a month like a sort of swap meat and it gives you from Friday to Sunday to trade with whoever.
These may not be the best ideas but I just thought them up in the fly. If they put their heads together they could prob come up with something better.

I hate clans too, played since day 1 and want nothing to do with them and now bc of that I can't trade? Eh seems silly. Warframe did it and trading was literally the only reason I joined a clan, not to be social. So if you want to ruin any current clans then yeah, good idea
