I agree an unlimited kind of trading system wouldn't be great but then I'm sitting here with over 1000hrs, can run sword on any class on hard crota, can run relic on Templar, can solo Venus or Mars at gatekeeper, run all raids and nightfalls 3x a week and still don't have Ghorn. Would it be so terrible to have my wife (who never raids and just plays for fun with me) give me one of her two? I don't think so. Maybe they can do a one time trade kind of thing. Like, you can only trade once a week and/or once you trade an item you can never trade the same item again.
