Titans in Crota's End
You don't need a Titan in Crota's end just in case you guys were feeling to good about yourselves. I just ran a hm Crota and distracted the boomers while shooting rockets. Titans are worthless.

a titan is not required but it makes it "safe". you can use any class to distract the boomers.

I regularly solo Crota's End with all three classes and I feel it's easiest with a titan

Seeing how Croats end has been solo'd by each character it's safe to assume you don't need one of any class, all parts can be done by any class. It just helps to have a good mix because each class does have a role it excels at

1 ReplyYeah... Get off your high horse. Every class can do every role. Hunters make [b]better[/b] swordbearers due to invis, warlocks make [b]better[/b] orb generators since the get more than three shots (although the bubbles add up fast), and titans make the [b]best[/b] boomer distraction. Every role, and class, is important to the success of the group. That being said, the whole raid could be done by a group of one class.

You don't NEED a hunter either. They are just preferred because they can blink strike and go invisible. I use my Titan for hard mode sword bearing and I do just fine.

You can send a level 30 to the ogre room under them have them jump on the doorway and shot the floor. Works pretty well

When your at the final part of that raid a shield comes in handy more than once while not needed they are handy

They aren't worthless. It's okay to have one. But everyone knows it isn't required. You don't NEED a hunter either. It's just best to have one. It would be great to have at least 1 of every class in a raid. I've had 2 of each class in a raid once. Most fun I've ever had. Everyone had a different subclass and it was the best of possible experiences.
