1. No one does a normal vog anymore. Unless you're dying for a chatterwhite.
2. Matchmaking would not be good. You'd have trolls and AFK players all the time with no ability to kick them. It's bad enough during the weekly.

I'm gonna start normal VoGs again to get back armor. If we can upgrade raid armor, time for mix-match.

This is my only concern to have afk players. But they could implement a vote to kick option to prevent it.

Perhaps, but I feel that it would be abused, like in other games that have a vote to kick. Or you get matched with a troll who causes wipes on purpose.
