It would be far more fair if you had a carrier or something fighting with no glassing. The covenant have the one advantage: Air power. Until we see the ships the hive have, it's an unfair fight. But if it was a ground battle, that would be interesting. The covenant have no comparison to wizards or thralls. The ogres could tango with hunters and could win. The only saving grace on the battle field that the covenant are snipers. So up close: Hive At a range: Covenant.
