So I raided with a squeaker last night.
Joined a group last night to run VOG on hard. We are waiting on the last guy and behold its a squeaker. Now I am not biased against players due to age. Age does not determine skill.
So the leader takes us in and everything is going smoothly... Then it starts. I swapped my gloves over to a pair with hand cannon loader and dropped to 31. Almost immediately I hear kick him, kick the 31 he wants to be carried. Never mind he [b]is a 31[/b]. I told him light level does not matter in VOG Hard as long as your 30. He says it does and still says kick me. The leader tells him to shut up. So we get to confluxes and he dies right away. He says that no one is shooting the templar so that is why he died.
I explained that the Templar is immune when the shield is up. He tells me that he got sword breaker from him by killing him with the shield up.... [spoiler]WTF[/spoiler]
Then when we get to the Gorgon chest he got gjallahorn.... After being dead most of the raid. I know I know rng blah blah it still sucked

A group I play who were doing Crota, one of them (who has always been blessed by rng) dies and then falls asleep at the very start of the Death Singer, only to be woken by the rest of the team shouting at him, they'd all got shards and the guy who was asleep got Hawkmoon.

I wanted to run VoG hard late Sunday night ... you know the pickings can be kind of slim in the wee hours. This dude posted something on destinylfg about "you want to have a fun Vault run with lots of laughs, join us. " I joined. The leader was sooo drunk that he was slurring words, singing, and telling horrible jokes. And he wasn't the only one. I thought "This is gonna be a disaster. " We rolled through the Vault like a dang steam roller. Other than a couple wipes, mostly from just goofing around, it was amazing and fun! Those guys were awesome. And even better, I got Fatebringer. One of the best. runs. ever.

Not as bad as my attempt at skolas with a 34 he had 0 kills our first run I had 78 I was like are you doing anything he said look at my shader. So after our 3rd attempt and him getting a whopping 14 kills I told the leader to kick him

56 RepliesI'm a squeaker, but I don't talk unless I'm giving information or asking a question. Not all squeakers are bad, and I enjoy knowing what I'm doing and doing it well. I don't scream at the top of my lungs, go into a raid without knowing any thing about it, or cuss 24/7. Not all squeakers are bad, exceptions exist. I haven't been called out because of my voice yet.

Yesterday i helped two squeakers that have been sitting in my friends list for a while go flawless on Too We did it on our first try All they did was throw insults at each other. I can easily say ill never play with squeakers again.

I wouldn't discriminate him by age (early teens myself), but he does sound annoying and I can empathise completely.

4 RepliesI am 13 myself and feel like I am more mature then the rest of the people I play with. 90% of the squeakers are annoying.cuss a lot thus making the fireteam leader think they can't get anywhere if they have squeakers on their team. That is true,but look at me I have went flawless in ToO each week totaling 15 times. The rest 10% might listen,be willing to cooperate more,and don't cuss but like I said it is rare these days playing with spoiled squeakers who think they are the best at everything.I bet someone immature will say something offensive or rude against me. Grimoire Score to me mostly does mean skill. For instance, most of the time I do skolas the other fireteam members have high Grimoire score making more confident we can do this easily. The same goes in ToO

Seriously i met what can 'fit' your description awhile ago, i think his old man lets him play his AC during day/early evening.. first time i'd ever played with a youngster tbh and i was a little unsure as to continue, various reasons obviously, am glad i stayed, as well as bieng talented player the guy just makes me laugh, first raid ever, he was with a guy on my friends list etc and i just gatecrashed CE.. so he hadn't taken down crota yet (back then) and wanted to, everyone was cool with lettin him attempt it.. came close twice, third time it was really, really close, slither of health left on crota etc.. so i thought he'll get this next one.. voice over headphones, lads Dad saying Enough.. you've had extra 20 minutes now time for.. bed? i'd imagine, maybe homework or whatever.. it was surleastic, 'but just one more try'.. 'NO' say's old man, do it tommorow etc, after a few minutes another guy on fireteam, only a few years older too talked him down, explained we'd get him tommorow and he'd already had extra time from parents etc, To this day i enjoy playing raids with him and other guys about same, well perhaps a few years older that i've met from that xp.. guess i been lucky though as there all cool, not the know it all types that really don't know much, if anything.

1 ReplyNot all squeakers are horrible. I've got guys in my clan who play with there kids or who are very tolerant of them and game withem cuz they are good players. That being said i never play withem by my own choice only if someone else brings one. imo lots of 32+ out there who dont know jack about the vog. I almost had to solo mars and venus on gate keeper yesty after asking everyone if they knew what they were doing we settled for 2 people going into venus while i did mars lol

32 RepliesThe best and worst player I have raided with is my son. When he gets on the mic he just continues to blabber on about nothing, just to hear himself talk. During VOG Raid he and one of his friends just started talking, after a few moments and me telling him to be quiet I could not take it anymore, so I walked over unplugged his mic and said ok Now everyone else can communicate without your constant interruptions. The rest of the raid team thanked me for silencing him, and his friend got the message. Now beyond his constant need to talk while in a raid team, he is great with the relic or sword. During a VOG hard, after raid team was killed, he was only one standing at the templar. 20 minutes later templar was completed. He decided to state to me to "get good scrub". I promptly then went out unplugged his console and told him to "learn some respect Scrub". Destiny was a quieter place for a few days as he took in this lesson.

I've done VoG before with a team of squeakers and they were far and away the best raid group I've ever had. I wanted to just quit on them at first but we never wiped a single time.

4 RepliesMy friend and I were doing Strikes before TDB dropped and this really nice Warlock came to join us on Aksor. He went well with us and together the three of us took Aksor down real quick, at the beginning of the same strike, we waved goodbye to him, he did the same and we departed. Not 15 minutes later I received a kind message from him that he enjoyed playing with me and I responded in the same way, we ended up being friends and raiding together with the slightest of ease with the frequent jokes. Then he stopped getting online, didn't respond to texts, like he vanished. The Dudes miss him... :/

I have a friend on psn who shares an account with his older-my age brother. But the younger brother has the most annoying voice, squeaker, squealer, yeller. But idc because he's amazing at PVP
