Yep, it killed the cat. There was another post where the player stated that PvE players were the ones calling for the majority of the PvP nerfs. Just wondering if it was true. No one has commented that they posted for a nerf. Based on that response I am assuming that his study was biased.

Definitely unsurprising. I doubt they know how to use the scientific method and think critically about the data they've collected.

I posted a question earlier about how much feedback is enough. I read where some bored engineers made a fluid erotion model to determine it took 1000 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop. If they can do that they they can surely tell us how much input from us is enough to drive actual chane in game. Currently we have no gage to indicate if we have enough traction in the tread.

The amount of data is irrelevant when it comes to changing this game. All that matters is money.

Yeah it's that kind of stuff that I would leave up to the scientists and the statisticians. I'm just a Political Science major with a possible Japanese major. I can critically think, but as for the scientific method, I won't claim to know how to perfectly apply it in these forums. I use it when I attempt to solve problems in the world, but in bizarre data collection cases like we have here, I'm at a loss. As for how much input we need to drive actual change in the game, I would assume (however wrong I might be) that it's all about how frequent any given topic is visible in the trending section of the Feedback forum. I would personally like to start pushing for ranked matchmaking, and after April (so many exams and essay to write O.o) I will begin to semi-frequently post concerning it's implementation. I can only hope that others will rally to support the cause.
