I hate XUR. He ruins PVP
I'm not looking forward to the iron banner. Hell I might even go back to playing titanfall fort a while until people get tired of using the last word.
I think the exotic weapons you get from Xur should have one less perk, compared to the people that "earned" them.
Don't come at me with "Oh, but I did earn it! I worked hard for the strange coins." My response to that is. ..no..no you didn't. You could have easily been CARRIED through the weekly heroic strikes. You could have had a Bunch saved up from decoding engrams, doing public events. .etc.
The people that EARNED their exotics should have the better of the two. We grinded week after week in hopes of obtaining that of which we seek. We did our nightfalls, we did six runs of crota each week, we got the gorgon chest on our characters, We played countless Vanguard ROC strikes and we played countless amounts of PVP matches and when we FINALLY get it, We feel great...people who "xurn" stuff can't say they earned it. It fell into their lap.

Good on the people that wanted it. I dont abuse it in crucible. I dont play crucible. -blam!- the haters. Everyone buy it and spam crucible.

1 ReplyDon't kid yourself, no matter how many nightfalls, raids, chests etc you get, it's up to RNG as to whether you get that weapon....... I think you're forgetting people get them by going badly in crucible, joining at the very end of strikes and from lucky reward packages as well.

Why don't you just buy one too? Then they don't have an artificial advantage over you based on their gun. If you have one already then what's the problem? Skill wins 10/10 regardless of the gun. I have Red Death, Suros, TLW etc and I get my ass handed to me in crucible. The gun doesn't make the guardian, the guardian makes the gun...

7 RepliesI actually agree. It's just like if xur would sell ballerhorn, the game is now even more unbalanced. I have TLW, Thorn, etc, but now everybody will have access to the best 1v1 situation gun in the game.

It's a tough weapon to go against but stay back, AND always, always, ALWAYS have cover. Don't take them head on, don't just stand and shoot it won't work head on against TLW. First thing you should think is where is my cover of shots are fired. From every angle

Getting the checkpoint for the gorgon chest is not eating it. Shooting rockets at crota is not earning it. It is easier to do both of these things than run a weekly if a player ways to buy the gun what does it matter to you. You are like the rest of us in this game nothing special we play for fun. Any player who buys the gun is more entitled to it than you are if you got it from opening a chest or shooting rockets at crota. So cut this Xurn and earn crap out.

Lol, I got TLW my first nightfall(cheesed). I got Red Death from the CE chest at the first chest in the abyss when it still had an exotic chance. Yep, I "earned" those guns so super, hard.

So what man, you can get carried through raids and nightfalls too. There is no difference to as whether you bought the from xur or got them from RNG. Most people miss the key point here - either way you had to play the game to get them.

I've carried 2 28's through a nightfall and one joined right after Sepkis prime died, he got an exotic too just like the one dude I carried, I got hide and seek 44, yeah they really earned their exotics all right. One got ghorn and another plan c. So shut the -blam!- up

this is the third time it's been sold. To act like the gun is going to be an issue now because it was this weekend is silly. You could have been carried in a nightfall, pvp, and raid too. So I really don't see what your getting at. But regardless for whatever reason you stopped playing and I think I can safely say for a majority of people. This is welcome. Don't come back. 3 RepliesMy friend got the gally, I carried him through the nightfall, he got 2 kills, it was his 1st ever exotic and his 1st ever nightfall, he's had his game about 1 week, are you saying he "earned" it? No. did he hell earn it, so your Post is irrelevant :)
