First, you must obtain and upgrade Husk of the Pit, this gun is a common primary auto rifle obtained by killing a Blade of Crota on either Earth or the Moon (Note that it works off RNG, you [b]will not[/b] get one each time you kill a blade, you only have a small chance). Upgrading this gun requires you to kill a very large amount of Hive with it. You [b]cannot[/b] upgrade it by turning in bounties, only by killing Hive (also the type of hive doesn't matter and it all gives you the same XP per kill). You then have to buy an Embalming Orb from Eris (requires Eris rank 3) once you have upgraded Husk fully. The next stage requires you to upgrade your newly obtained Eidolon Ally. This gun [b]can[/b] be upgraded with bounties, so it shouldn't take as long. The final upgrade for this gun requires the Crux of Crota• (obtained from Hard Crota) to upgrade. Once you obtain that item, you are finished, the Necrocasm doesn't need to be upgraded anymore as it already is fully upgraded. • Some speculation is that you may have to have obtained Glowhoo to receive the Crux, but it is only speculation.
