You can not have more than two grenades. Perks don't matter.
I recommend if you run HoPF to choose Ignite and Viking Funeral as your perks. Also, use your super often and spam those nades.

For crucible, I actually run voidfang vestments and you spawn with 2 nades everytime you die so if you are good at sticking it's almost a guaranteed 2 KD lol

I'm talking pve. Crucible is not something I touch outside of Iron Banner.
