Hahaha so true, I only use the truth when I feel like bein a dick. But it's as OP as Ballerhorn is in PVE so you shouldn't be surprised to get killed by one. It's a good gun like Thorn, Red Death, The Last Word and Felwinter's Lie. If you have one, you're dumb not to use it. If you don't have a Thorn, The Last Word or Red Death, be the dick that uses the Truth. Gotta fight fire with fire.
-
This guy can't handle the Truth :D
-
For clarification I don't hate someone when they kill me with Truth, it just makes me want to ask "why you gotta be so rude".
-
I guess somebody's been destroyed by it quite a few times and despises it's AMAZING lock on perk. I prefer ghorn, just because it makes groups of ppl scatter even better.... but I guess that makes me even worse.
-
The less counter play something has the more I despise it pretty much.
-
I'm not trying to sound like a d-bag, but what did you mean by "counter play"? The way I'm understanding your response is... if it's a weapon that you can't find a solution to while battling against it in the crucible, you don't like it. Or, it's a one-sided battle (going up against someone with the truth - one person almost always dies after lock-on) because you're unable to duel it out to see who has the better skill level. Is any of that what you meant? Now, let's be honest here (this answer is based on my interpretation of your above response).... once Bungie decided to allow all weapons and loadouts into the crucible, all counter play kinda went out the window. Yea, they nerf & buff things from time to time (which changes up tactics), but the fact that anyone can join in a PvP match with the truth proves that Bungie wanted these weapons to be part of every match so that at any time, a losing team could turn the tide of battle. Also, they wanted to broaden the spectrum and make multiplayer more "COD friendly", so that's another reason it's in PvP. Besides, if they didn't want the game to be played like that, they would've made map pick-up based heavy weapons instead of the way it is now. Just saying.... most things in this game aren't meant to be played the way people hoped for (this topic being one of them).

Dis kid..
-
Not a kid, I just enjoy the Crucible and want that to be shared around.
-
Yet you criticize other players for using probably one of the most underpowered rockets in the game.
-
It definitely isn't underpowered in the Crucible which is where this criticism is aimed.
-
Literally every rocket launcher is as "OP" as Truth.
-
I wouldn't use the term "OP" however Truth is very ahead of other rocket launchers.
-
Gjallahorn? Any tracking legendary rocket with a high blast radius?
-
What's wrong with truth?
-
What's the problem with truth?
-
It is one of the worst weapons to die by and really unsportsmanlike. Using it is kinda a "-blam!- you" to your enemies.
-
That's the point. You're trying to kill the enemy dumbass
-
Nah thats the thorn because the thorn users know its OP!
-
I'm a thorn user. Thorn is most definitely op. That's why I'm a thorn user.
-
Lmaooo thats why everyone else is one , i sharded mine >.<
-
How is using a weapon disrespectful to enemies? Truth was made for PVP.
-
Because the tracking plus proximity detonation is ridiculous, you hardly need to aim that thing. Truth is a weapon you take to get easy kills and that isn't respecting your enemy, im not calling for nerfs or telling people they should stop using just that if they do they are being a dick.
-
Yeah, but if you think like that, then you could say that about basically most weapons in pvp (depending on who uses them and how skilled they are). Besides, how can you say rocket launcher kills "disrespect" your enemy when every person get to use space magic? Also, I looked at 2 of your guardians' stats. After looking at your warlock and hunter, I see that 1/3rd of your kills are from using a super. You can't honestly bash someone for using a rocket launcher while having that many super kills. If anything, a lot of the situations in pvp using supers can be considered "disrespectful". All depends on how it's perceived in-game. You might find rocket launchers insulting in the crucible, but Bungie sure doesn't. Besides, you might be 1 person upset at dying to a rocket launcher, but 6 of your enemies might have a problem with someone who heavily relies on getting kills with a super. That could be considered quite "disrespectful" as well. I'm sorry, but you can't just knock one way to kill and embrace another. That's contradictive. Now, I'm not trashin' your use of supers, but to a lot of people, super kills are unfair and "disrespectful" and you're not taking that into account here. Also, it's actually a more common complaint that supers are unfair in pvp (a lot more than someone using the truth).
-
They get as many kills with truth as they have rockets (ignoring multikills)... Would you rather they use a legendary RL and an exotic primary which will kill more people in a game? I'm thinking thorn and last word...
-
All heavy weapons are pretty much easy kills, let me fire a gally at a control point of enemies and let's see what happens.
