Agreed. The fourth spot in the guardian insignia is a little odd. I don't recall many coat of arms leaving an odd number of parts left uncolored or empty. Also if you download the destiny app and look at your gear tap in your legend, you'll notice that it says 2/3 on subclass tab. If 3 slots are meant to be filled, what goes into that slot? Obviously, an unannounced future subclass for all and possibly the addition of a new class and race altogether. Should there be a new race, as much as I would like it to be The Jovians,- (Humanoids who inhabit the jovian worlds, which might imply a group of different races that all came to be called "Jovian," much like how the Protheans in Mass Effect were an empire comprised of the original race of protheans that conquered other worlds and their inhabitants. Those conquered masses all came to be called Prothean as well, despite being completely genetically different race.) -I don't think it will be. I wonder if HoW will bring enemies into our ranks who have had a change of heart. If the Awoken have enslaved or made an alliance with a Fallen House, isn't is possible that some of the fallen from that house defected to the guardian side? Or perhaps made with whole other different house of fallen. Despite them being considered creatures of darkness, so I believe based on the bonus super energy you get on some gear from killing minions of darkness, please correct me if I'm wrong about that, I think it might be possible certain individuals can be cleansed and made pure again so they can wield the light. I came to this because in some dialogue with xûr, he mentions that light "hurts" Indicating that the light causes pain to them on a cellular level. Now its also possible that they too can be cleansed in a way so they too can wield the light; however, would bungie or whoever go through the whole project of creating and designing a whole race? Maybe, it certainly would be -blam!-in cool, but idk if they would do that juuuuuust yet. It might be easier and more cost effective to use use already created models. Fallen... since the next expansion centers around them. The Death Knights of WotLK in WoW, were the deadly personal warriors of the Lich King himself. Who's to say that couldn't happen with the Fallen? :) Just a thought...

  • I say it couldn't happen with Fallen. There are several reasons why. They aligned with the queen over bloodshed not allegiance or change of heart. They aren't technically creatures of darkness, but when their Kell Skolas returns they'll continue to fight us. We are literally fighting the wolves, so they shouldn't be considered friends. Also there are reasons Xur feels pain from light...

  • Also didn't we tame wolves in ancient times, isn't that how the domesticated dog came to be?

  • What are the reasons the light causes him pain? What if there are certain individuals within the fallen who don't wish to continue the bloodshed and want to make a truce? Idk. If not the fallen, do you think the jovians?
