Felwinters VS ...
This is not a post complaining about felwinters, i couldn't care less... What i want to know is what shotguns you guys use that stand up to its incredible range
I myself like to run Universal Remote and Crash Casket to counter it seeing how they both have pretty good range themselves. Im looking forward to trying out my new shotgun i got today, a full auto Secrete Handshake with almost full stability.
So what shotgun do you guys of the destiny community use that you feel confident with against felwinters lie

Any hand cannon plus throwing knifes. Most players with shotguns rush straight at you which makes them an easy target. One shot to the head followed by a knife to the face. It is a really fun technique to use. Make sure you run multiple knives and the perk that restores your knife after you get a precision kill with it. Also TLW -blam!-s anything close range.

I actually use a Felwinter's with Quickdraw and Shot package in PvP. Stick to your primary the entire time and swap when you think they're being cheeky.

I have a crash casket with rangefinder and hammer forged. Pretty awesome. I still use felwinters though just to piss everyone else off.

17 RepliesThey need to buff Universal Remote....not that i've used it, but nobody uses it and nobody will until it's worth the exotic slot AND primary slot that it takes up, which means it has to be the best shotty in the game to be worth using.

I got two Hide and Seek 42s that compete with Felwinter's pretty well in crucible. Both have hammer forged, and one has shot package and the other one has full auto. Now that I got one from last IB though, I rarely use the Hide and Seeks unless I'm in PvE, as all three of my shotguns have different elements. Everyone that complains about Felwinter's though, completely overlooks the fact that the shotgun has good range [b]AND[/b] insane impact. Everyone just says it's the range, but the Invective has damn near the same range and you don't see people getting killed from so far away.

Its just cause those who did iron banner who got rangefinder from rerolls are the annoying ones, just cause its so much easier to roll it than any others...

1 ReplyNot saying you're complaining about FL, but when I read all the "FL is a sniper" comments I can't help but laugh. The only people that think FL is OP compared to other shotguns are those who normally don't play in the Crucible. People who do KNOW it's not FL, it's the perks themselves. Judgement with SP and Hammerforged is better than FL with the same roll.
