Halo 5: Guardians has been confirmed for the 27 of October via two live action trailers — one of the trailers features Locke prevailing over the Chief, and one features the Chief (rightfully) prevailing over Locke. Needless to say, the trailers are fucking epic, but beyond that, it seems as if though the Halo story is going to become much bigger than what it already is, and instead of following a linear path, it seems that there will be much more depth and decision making in Halo 5.
I wonder if you will even come to the point in-game found within the trailer. And if you do, will it be the resulting conclusion to how you chose to play the game, a scene in which you must play three times in order to unveil the correct conclusion, or something completely different.
I haven't been this excited for a game in a while, so please, 343, make this a good one.

I appreciate your excitement for Halo 5, OP. I however, won't be buying it for a couple of reasons. 1) I'll still be deeply lost in Tamriel with The Elder Scrolls Online when October rolls around. I play it on PC already, but it's infinitely more fun IMO than any Halo will be. 2) I took a chance with 3fail3 Industries with Halo 4. Along with Destiny, Halo 4 will go down as one of my worst expenditures of $60 that I've ever spent. Halo 4 was a joke, and more horrible than I ever thought a Halo could get. I will not be fooled again, and have laid down Halo for good with 343 is at the helm. That's my reasoning.
