Again, something else that should have been implemented since the beggining.
Although if you think about it, lore wise it wouldn't make any sense, after all, the crucible is only there so guardians can train with one another.

Exactly! It doesn't fit the lore and you can be as much aware of your surroundings as you like, you'll get sniped across maps even before you were able to just take a careful look as all areas are connected through narrow passages/entrances. So in this Destiny it's just bad idea.
