Tricks and Tips: Help a Guardian out. (Even veterans may learn something).
Firstly, please don't post anything negative or unhelpful. Don't be THAT guy.
I gave a tip on another thread and it was pointed out that A) many people didn't know about it and B) this forum needs to be more helpful.
Here's my tip:
[b]Put field scout on your Thunderlord and reload so you have 60 rounds in the mag. Now change its perks to be more stable. You'll still have 60 rounds but you'll have more stability. Great for more Crits and higher DPS. This works for any gun but best with Thunderlord[/b]
If you have a tip that you think that not many people know about, post it in [b]bold[/b] for everyone to see and be enlightened.

All it is is a good way to make the team pissed off at you (if I see you do this, I watch you go into the battle alone and die. I'm not going to get murdered by their heavy abundant team) [b]The only time grabbing heavy for yourself is okay is if there are enemies coming at you.[/b] Even if you get it and die, it's better than the enemy getting heavy ammo.

Another tip that revved around Crucible and heavy ammo: [b]You do not have to pick up heavy ammo as soon as it spawns. If you are within the drop radius but outside of your ammo pick-up range, that heavy ammo will stay there throughout the entire match (unless it gets blown off of an edge somehow) so you can pick it up later.[/b] I do this to make sure I can get kills without worrying about supers or other heavy ammo. If you learn the perfect times to grab heavy, you can easily go on kill streaks.

[b]Whoever Wants To Use Autorifles[/b] but haven't looked at high RoF guns, take a look into them and just get their stability up. They're super fun guns and are actually great to play with. [b]Don't Waste Those Marks!!![/b] If you have time, go to the Cosmodrome or any other patrol area and search caves, nooks and crannies, cliffs, and other areas where chests might be. You can get legendary engrams from these chests ( I just got one today! ) as well as rare and legendary ships you can't get otherwise. But you can get from [b]1 to 20 materials depending on your location.[/b] Save those marks for HoW items so you can stay a step ahead.

I haven't seen this yet. When banishing the over soul don't bother with rockets, unload your sniper switch to primary. rockets take too long to reach the oversoul and don't do as much damage as a sniper

[b]On rusted lands, if your standing in the very tiny green room (not the big one with capture point A, down the hall lol) you can grab get a heavy drop from that spot. When your team grabs it, a box WILL drop, even though it's much further than the game normally seems to allow. [/b] On Twilight gap, when at C heavy, instead of standing next to the box and getting sniped, have one person pop the heavy, everyone else can be on the other side of the wall behind cover.

Forced loot chest spawns... Go patrol a planet and open chests until you get a chest to spawn relatively close to a loading screen. (you know the spot you get stuck in while loading the next area) open the chest and immediately pass through the loading thresh hold. Turn around and go back to the same chest and it will still be there waiting to be opened. ( Works well by the dust palace if the chest spawns in the room by the patrol marker. just run into the basement and back up to the chest.)

This is a great way to get in good damage on the enemies without you taking damage. [/b] [b] The aftershock for fist of havoc releases a wave that travels along the ground just like razors edge. This will work for the striker Titans too. [/b] [b] Gjallarhorn has a hidden proximity detonation perk. Great for PVP. Also, be sure to remember this when firing rockets in PVE! [/b]

1 ReplyBest tip i can give, any weapon with third eye or knuckle head radar. Use it to make sure a cheeky little dreg doesn't try to flank you, and keep an eye on team mates! Seriously, don't stand in front of team mates if you can help it... Guardian booty is nice, but when seen through a sniper scope when your trying to snipe someone is just frustrating. Have fun guardians!

[spoiler]Not talking about useful info, stuff like: "F that guy" or "Oh no, where did he come from" or some rambling monologue about how much Crucible sucks and is just a shotgun fest.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesAnother tip for crota Hard. If you run to the tower for ogres after the second sword, have a titan with saint 14 drop a bubble in front of the door that the ogre spawns from. He wont be able to shoot at anyone.

3 Replies[b]Having trouble keeping an enemy shield down? Damage over time effects like Thorn or Scorch can help. Since the target is still taking damage your window of opportunity is lengthened. You'd be surprised how many small crack in the environment can be shot through. Valus Ta'arucs chamber is a prime example. Enemies are smart, they actively avoid damaging area of effect fields like solar or vortex grenades. You can use this fact to control the flow of battle. Sniper rifles and scout rifles can have a perk called Shoot to Loot which allows you to pick up ammo by shooting it. The Gunsmith can sometimes sell Shoot to Loot guns, check him regularly to pick up one of these awesome tools. [/b]
