Try to get the gatekeeper cp from a friend or from lfg. Can be hard or normal. Pop a blue polyphage and kill all the hobs. I recommend Titan with fist of havoc, as it worked best for me. Also I recommend using shotguns. I use universal remote and swordbreaker combo. You can next over 600 glimmer every 30 seconds if kill all the hobs. Plus countless axiomatic beads which you can turn in, or save in your inventory for emergency(typically iron banner for me). Best way to harvest glimmer in the game. Also use the mission, "the dark beyond" just before "WE'VE WOKEN THE HIVE" for as many bounties as possible. Kill all acolytes and thrall but NOT THE KNIGHT. If you kill the knight, it will save your progress further than you want to be and you have to reset the mission. You can do countless bounties at this juncture of the game. I've got a few tips, though I'm sure that everyone already knows about them. [b]Cut Them Down:[/b] Edit: Running solo, as everyone knows, Fist of Crota is the ideal mission for this bounty. For [b]team play[/b], travel to Earth's Rocketyards (it is where you first spawn for the Sepiks Prime strike). In the back, there are three clusters of Hive that spawn continuously: three acolytes and a knight, three acolytes, and two acolytes and two knights. When the Blades of Crota begin the ritual, kill the blade, wipe out the three acolytes that spawn with him and the thralls that spawn soon after, and you will have plenty of juice to take out the other 11 Hive that spawn there. Running the Rocketyards with a fireteam allows you to work on more than one bounty at once, like Fallen Leaders (two Vandal majors spawn there), a number of Eris bounties, (Bonebraker, The Unseen) and Patrol Earth, among others. [b]Light in the Dark/Boneshaker/Cut to the Quick:[/b] Warlock/Titan/Hunter Eris bounty, can be completed in the Crota Raid. Another great place for this bounty is the Dark Beyond ("We've awoken the Hive!!!!!"). [b]Dark Beyond:[/b] This location can be farmed for glimmer, super orbs, melee kills, heavy kills, etc. Leave one enemy alive outside of the doors to kill you to rinse and repeat. If Ghost starts talking again, you'll have to go to orbit to restart. [b]Heavy Weapons:[/b] Though everyone has a hard-on for the Gjallarhorn, rockets are not always the best heavies for bosses. Machine Guns can do critical damage that rockets can't, which is something to consider when you're running strikes and Nightfalls. Certain bosses, like the Archon Priest, Phogoth, and Sepiks Prime can all be staggered with critical hits, meaning they cannot fire; these bosses are better suited for the sustained fire of machine guns. [b]A low rate of fire with high impact will net you many more critical hits than a machine gun that sprays[/b]. Other enemies, like Valus T'Arch (sp?), Omnigul, and the Nexus, cannot be "staggered" (they will still fire regardless of critical hits) and are better suited for rockets. I know a lot of people don't seem to realize that times vengeance activates inside the portal allowing people outside to start damaging Atheon before the relic holder is out.This makes a ton of difference in damage if people just watch their screen and hit him asap for 30 seconds of damage instead of maybe 15 when waiting for relic to come out and bubble,someone has to watch the supps however.

When playing crucible [b]do not take the heavy ammo when people on your team are still close[/b]. All it is is a good way to make the team pissed off at you (if I see you do this, I watch you go into the battle alone and die. I'm not going to get murdered by their heavy abundant team) [b]The only time grabbing heavy for yourself is okay is if there are enemies coming at you.[/b] Even if you get it and die, it's better than the enemy getting heavy ammo.
