Hey there!
Bungie is currently aware of this issue that popped up after the Playstation 2.50 update and is actively investigating. Right now, you'll have use other methods to join players. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Well I hope they fix it soon as I'm losing out on game play doing raids....... But at the same time I am getting fed up with the floors and defects of the game now. as I would think a lot of people are too. Bungie seem fast to patch the cheeses people find but really really slow to fix the broken parts of the game :-(
