So.. Are we just giving up?
I haven't really seen many people discuss this issue as a whole, i see pieces of it around so I'm just curious, are we giving up on these laughable exotics? We got the one big exotic buff which was pretty decent but more than half of the exotics we got with the dark below are just horrid. Examples:
ATS/8 ARACHNID: The worst helmet and most pointless exotic buff. If you couldn't already aim your GG and it made it so you could it would even be slightly more useful.
GLASSHOUSE: its decent, but outshines by many others
NO LAND BEYOD: WORST
DRAGONS BREATH: seriously pointless as the A.I. Is programmed to walk out of it
RADIANT DANCE MACHINES: eh sub-par
FOURTH HORSEMAN: laughable range and seems to go with this theme they all the sudden wanted to be a WWII shooter with NLB and dragons breath
NECHROCHASM: By far the biggest spit in our face, all this work and actually somewhat fun quest to get this pea shooter is seriously the biggest let down. And having the "best" weapon in the game be an archetype that is known to not be used is puzzling.
I love this game, but i seriously think bungie needs to address these things with a buff or change. I doubt it will happen as it seems more like the mood is looking straight at HoW, but i don't really feel like any exotics in the dark below added anything besides Obsidian Mind, Ruin Wings, and Don't Touch Me's. If these things aren't touched i will at least take comfort if the new items are new, great, and inventive. It seems like the people who came up with some of these were just picking the worst ideas out of a hat and calling themselves genius. I am sure other people share this sentiment i have just yet to see it much, so i wonder if everyone has just given up on it. I mean at least were getting vault space right?
EDIT: I did forget the MK.44 STAND ASIDES, also crap.

I agree for those who rng is a jerk they are more likely to be stuck with crap exotics and thus gameplay is just duu duu. I would have thought the fun gap between legendaries and exotics to be much more vast than it is, now for those of us who do have all the exotics it just leaves us wanting for more, knowing that it is it and we've got it all just leaves a hole in my heart. But that can be said for everything. Wtb moe exhaustics pleeeZ.

yea there needs to be [u]another[/u] exotic weapon re-balance. for the most part i like what happened from the first one, but with the dlc their are more pieces that need work.

I find it a bit humorous to find myself wanting the vault of glass weapons more than the dark below. What VOG specific exotics are there? Just the Vex? Aetheon is the only way to get the vex, as far as I know. And people can't stop bringing up the fatebringer.

Every piece of equipment from the dark below is -blam!-ing useless, there ain't 1 good weapon to come out of it, Bungie fack'd up BIGTIME with the DLC, weak, no content, no thought just lazy garbage ! House of wolves will get a chance if it's as shit as dark below I'm gonna shit on my copy of destiny and mail it to the useless cahoonts!!!!!

This wouldn't be a problem if destiny had an actual loot table. And also that the whole exotic idea of bungie set itself up for failure, here's why: We can only equip one exotic, so the question is... Is it better than "insert gun here"? [i]Because we can only ever equip one exotic, we will always be comparing them. [/i] They need to step up the legendary guns. And not just spit out the same perks. Oh well... Soo much potential.

I wanna see anyone getting more than 30 kills with this gun consistent match after match, no? then go away. the gun is fun to use but for only for 5 minutes. if it had a perk like you can slow down time for like 3 seconds or whatever then you can hit very good shoots. unfortunately, boooooooooo

Wah. Don't use them then if you think they are bad! All weapons/armour have a use for multiple situations. This isn't a game were you stick with the same weapon/armour forever. Change it up. P.s. 4th Horseman is awesome, use it all the time.

at least I didn't see a complaint about the star fire protocol, and the necrochasm isn't that bad(at times)

Maybe you use them wrong. Glasshouse is awesome. But you need to leave the bubble. Your team has overshield for a long time. You can play very aggresive. Great for nf with lightswitch, lamp phase, crota( for people with no health gear when they have to pass boomers). Radiance dancemachines are nice in pvp for their faster moving while aiming. Great for people who dont have raid boots and no other gear that let them carry more heavy. Ypu are right about arachnoid. Never used no land beyong. Nechrochasm is fun in arc burns.

No Land Beyonce should have twice the fire rate for half the damage. Dragon's Breath should pull enemies into the solar flare. Radiant Dance Machines should add another jump (double jump becomes triple jump, triple dump becomes quadruple jump). Fourth Horseman should have extended range and charge supers faster. Necrochasm should slow enemies down over time when hit. Mk. 44 Stand Asides should make Titans accelerate to the maximum sprint speed and have regenerate health when sprinting at maximum speed.
