Literally just posted this comment on another thread. 300 Weapons have no damage fall off for level 30 enemies.. 331 is for level 33 which is only found in Crota hard. 300 Weapons do 80% of their max damage. Unless you're in Crota hard at death singer or past, why not? lol. I need to level up my vision

But there is no damage fall off for 331 weapons at level 30 either. So the extra 14% damage you get from it makes it better than a 300 weapon with the same impact. For example fang is same impact/rof as VoC and will do more damage all the way to 22 when weapon damage does start to fall off (for a 331 weapon)
