as a Xmas noob (level 30 Warlock - just now starting new characters), i have found it difficult to get into raiding. either i get the....hey man dont think you will be able to do this - as i have no Ghorn....or its full of 14 year olds talking about how much they want to do things with their D!cks. and then i am a scrub cos i need to learn how to do the raid. only so much you can oick up from you tube and reddit etc. i have had a couple of raids where people have been really good and taken me through but most people are not interested in leading the newer players through.
we all started out once but some of us didnt get destiny till recently. LFG sites are good and got some decent playing, but mostly on strikes and leveling up second charcters - as soon as you get into a raid party, your almost written off before you fire your first shot

thanks guys - good to hear some solid people out there and its not just me. i am at the moment PS3 but going next gen soon - likely PS4. will add who i can and hoepfully meet online at some point. funny how the world works though - found 2 guys yesterday who need help for nightfall and asked about raids - they have offered to sherpa me through and show me the ropes - looking forward to becoming a legit raider soon!

Do you play on Xbox one? My friends and I can teach you the raids. If you are on Xbox one add oldgreece2112

my PSN is DurzoBlint13. I didn't get into raids until late either, and no one wants to show me how to use the relic. I want to get a team together to do VoG on normal and teach everyone what to do and when. If you would like to be part of that, send a friend request and we will get together this weekend. I have friends that are willing to teach, its just a matter of getting everyone online at the same time. Everyone wants to rewards but they forget that they were noobs at one time also. Just play the game the way you want to play and try to find friends that share that view point. Having fun is the most important thing about Destiny. People forget that sometimes

It's shit hey. I've had more fun helping others raid than trying to speed run 3 in a night. I'm on ps4 if you ever want to raid. Same name ;)
