I doubt they will... in the open house for Devs questionnaire, one of 'em said "The weapon is performing as designed" in reference to the Necrochasm. So yeah, they clearly don't give a f**k about assault rifles anymore.

That is a Classic Retort from devs. It's fine, they just need to inform everyone that the weapon was designed to suck at inception.

Hell, we got an event that goes from March 30th through April 19th that brings back Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentines Arkfalls and rewards. And what does Bungie give us? One legendary package for a RANDOM legendary for Christmas, and crappy Inferno modes...

EDIT: Now the dumbsh*t Dev that answered that question hinted that Necrochasm MIGHT get a buff in the future, but with the way Bungie has been screwing around with nerfs, dont bank on them buffing the Necrochasm.
