Like I don't get how anybody can identify as an atheist instead of at most an agnostic-atheist, because we have no proof that God does not exist. Sure you might [i]believe[/i] he does not exist, but without proof, surely you must accept the [i]possibility[/i] that maybe you're wrong?? :/

I'm more on the side that if you can prove without a reasonable doubt that God is real then sure I'll convert but until then I'm an atheist

Christians have about the same amount of proof as atheists and both parties exist in the same state of non knowingness so it's really a matter of optimism or confidence in your beliefs Neither of them really know whether they're right or not is what I'm saying, it's not exclusive to atheists
