I think its a bad idea. Bounties that require specials to complete will become more of a chore to complete than entertaining. Making a a game that is already laborious even more so. I lose interest in Destiny with each update. Edit: Pulse rifles will rule supreme.

  • I always skip buckshot bruiser, rocket launcher, and fusion rifle bounties because they are all noob tubes that take no aim or skill what-so-ever. I always knock out the sniper one first without even thinking. Special weapons should be used in special cases hence the word special. I never camp, only aggressive snipe when I know I have the clear headshot I don't just run around with a sniper out all the time. The same should be done with all other special weapons. People need to stop blink shotgunning like noobs all the time. I can't wait for the change. All the noobs that run blink shotgun can go to hell because they won't be able to dogfight with primary because they never honed that skill at all.

  • You're full of it. 15000 plus kills in control ( which is mainly what you play ) and only 2500 or so captures. You're just a control zone camper.

  • Objectives in control are stagnant points. You have to camp them to win the game. If you push a third objective, you're risking spawn flips--momentum change for most maps.

  • By the way, capture to kills comparisons mean nothing. If you are good at control you don't need to cap more than 2 times a game. More caps mean you keep losing spawns. Again, you can draw no inference into how I play based off of any information on my profile.

  • Well, you can think you do, but you'd be dead wrong about my camping. I aggressive quickscope snipe and move along. I never stay in one area too long in this game.

    You have your opinion on shotgunners, I have mine on snipers. I really think both serve their respective purposes well. I believe that continuous nerfs and adjustments to crucible are reducing it to the same old boring run of the mill fps that the market is flooded with. I really liked the fast paced play that was crucible until the "balancing" started. I also think lag plays a huge part in peoples ability to be competitive in crucible. I don't believe weapon balancing should have started until that aspect was addressed. I've grown weary of Destiny of late. I'm not convinced it will stand the test of time. By the way, if you were just in it for the kills, you should be playing clash or rumble. You use control because its easier to get kills by camping control points. Control is team oriented, not lone wolf.

  • You are right about the server issues. I think they should dedicate some space for servers, not have the supposed best connection player host it. And you are also right about the play styles. Shotgun noobs should be allowed to run their blink shotgun if they so please but currently within this framework it's broken. They can run shotguns as a primary without penalty to their primary slot or anything. With this new update of introducing the scarcity of the special boxes it forces them to make a commitment if they really want to do shotgun blinking. Run universal remote or invective. I'm perfectly ok with them doing it at that time, if they want to run shotgun the whole game. But they shouldn't be allowed to run an exotic hawk moon or thorn as a backup to their lame blink attacks. About my motivations for playing control, it's because its the only playlist that seems to consistently get people easily. Rumble I'm sometimes waiting 10minutes for a group. Same with clash. Also with rumble the diversity of play isn't there. It's wandering towards the red and avoiding getting in someone else's crossfire while you collect kills. I prefer the diverse array of engagements of 6v6. Personally, Inferno was the best playlist to date because you could use your map awareness to flank an entire team and have some interesting plays. I really wish bungie would dedicate server space to allow more options of play and not have playlists like inferno and salvage be temporary events. That is just strange why they would do something like that.

  • First and foremost, I'm in it for the kills, If I see my team trying to cap I may or may not jump in to cap but I don't put myself in the line of fire for 100 points. Also until this year I never took crucible seriously, so I had to close the gap to bring my K/D up from a .8 with already 14k deaths. I'd probably honestly have closer to my salvage K/D which I only recently started playing.
