Doing hard mode first gives you a double roll of loot and counts as your rewards for normal mode. For CE, if you're trying to get a special or heavy weapon, do normal first. My friends and I and everyone I've raided with have only gotten primary weapons doing hard.

This may be a noob question but whats the best way to go about getting armor? I only get weapons every time never any armor
