I never understand why people get so angry when someone buys a weapon from Xur. You work hard to earn strange coins - so you really are "earning" the weapon you choose to buy.
If you get yourself some beer or a different special treat at the end of a difficult work week - don't you think that you earned it? Yes.

Doing three weeklies isn't "working hard" However Bungie but Xur in the game to help people who hasn't had luck with RNG so purchase away

So you're saying that no one earns anything in this game then. You specifically complete the weeklies for exp, a glow around your head, and for Strange coins. You still work for those - so that's earning whatever you choose to buy. And honestly, who the hell cares how someone else gets their weapons or armor? It's not really effecting you, is it? I haven't purchased any weapons from Xur yet, but I will probably "purchase away" and get this weapon tonight because I can.

The comment made it seem like you had to grind for hours to get the necessary strange coins. If you buy something from xur that's your business I personally hate him but since he's here he's a big help to those who aren't as lucky as I am with RNG. He's bad for me but better for the whole so to me he's a necessary evil Edit: The blue fire comes from nightfalls, not weeklies

Okay, well I def don't think that someone should have to grind for hrs to get Strange Coins by doing the weeklies.. unless they don't have enough and need to run strikes and hope the RNG gods favor them.. but anyway, I just think that Xur is a helpful thing to have in the game. Not everyone is as lucky as you or I (sometimes) ;)
