I'm getting tired of playing as a warlock on all three of my characters and was wondering if it was worth it to delete two of them to make a titan and a hunter. I run three warlocks in order to maximize my chances of getting full raid gear, and I am trying to decide if adding some gameplay variety is more valuable. Any thoughts?
EDIT: So it looks like a resounding yes for killing off my warlock clones! I'm going to make a hunter and titan once I get the crux to drop for me, and because of all of you I'm pretty excited for the change in pace. Moving forward, what exotics and stat builds should I be looking for on my new hunter and titan?
EDIT 2: I'm level 30 now with my hunter and will start a titan once i hit 32. I'm loving the different supers and playstyle, no regrets about making the switch. Thanks again y'all!

I have 5/6 subclasses maxed. I play around with different styles and it stops the grind from getting boring. Just finished eris quests for 2nd time and they are a pain but doable. It helps having 3 classes just so you can experience them all. You will always have a favourite though. Mine is my warlock.
-
I love the idea of it. I even have a great set of armor for my future hunter. However, I just can't face leveling another character. Running the Eris storyline again makes me shudder. I've had my warlock at 31 for months and still haven't completed that shit.
-
Yes it's fun to use all subclasses and when we get new subclasses it will give you a lot more to do
-
Yes. But only if you think you can max all 4 sub classes before HoW hits. You'll be left at quite a disadvantage potentially.
-
i started with one of each class for the grimoire and to feel them out, now i have been slowly deleting them to make all 3 warlocks for the convenience and i favor the warlock the most
-
I have one of each class at 32 and am working on getting all 6 subclasses maxed. To me, its kind of nice to be versatile and know how to play every character instead of just focusing on one aspect of the game. I also use a different primary type on each of my characters as well, just to keep things a little different.

Edited by SwampFoxx565: 3/26/2015 1:24:30 PMI like playing as all three. It makes me adapt my play style. You cant play the same way as a titan while running a hunter or warlock and vice versa. Each has their pros and cons but all are very usable and fun characters. I started with a titan, then a hunter, and then made a warlock so my warlock is the newest of the bunch. Here's my list of pros and cons from my experiences. Hope it helps. Titan: More of a tank type of class that can endure a little more damage and go in guns blazing. Bubble helps in pinch situations. Pros: great jump height, takes more damage, bubble in nightfalls or raids, good armors, titan smashing is fun Cons: a little slower than other classes, less control over the jump, ugly crota helmet haha Hunters: More tactical and distance type killing. Stealthy and invisibility makes for great for revives in a pinch. Pros: more agility, golden gun is good and arc blade is fun, invisibility, tripe jump gives good control over jumps, good armors Cons: takes less damage aka Squishy, less height on both classes jumps Warlocks: More of your balanced type. Take moderate damage and can be effective tactically from a distance or more up close and personal in smaller crowds of enemies. (You know all of this though). Pros: Nova bomb is awesome, takes decent amounts of damage, good armors, moderate height in jumps, self rez, boosting teammates Cons: jump mechanics are horrible (imo),

Here are the armors per class I recommend. Not in any particular order. Titan armor: Helm of saint 14: blinds enemies who enter your bubble (ward of dawn) Glass house: ugly but increases duration of bubble and allows orbs to regenerate health Ruin WIngs: Increases melee damage and increases heavy ammo drops. Great for raids and night falls. Armamenterium: gives an additional grenade. Comes in very handy in night falls and raids Crest of Alpha Lupi: You revive faster and you revive teammates faster. Generates 1 more orb per super. Hunter: Don't Touch Me: Invisibility upon getting melee damage from an enemy Achlyophage Symbiote: Gains an additional gold gun round Mask of the third man: Picking up orbs regenerates health Crest of Alpha Lupi: You revive faster and you revive teammates faster. Generates 1 more orb per super.

Hunter , get mask of the third man and the achlyophage symbiote ! It's worth it and also get crest of alpha lupi and the don't touch mes and if you have the multi tool, et radiant dance machines
-
yes, grimoire
-
Yes ! So much fun! And with 32 easily being obtained now it's great! I just started in January with my Titan and I use him as my main now!
-
Duh, I can't believe this obviously make different classes it is so much more fun switching up you style of play
-
The best exotics for a titan are Helm of Saint-14, Armamentarium and Ruin Wings. For hunters it Mask of The 3rd man and Achlyophage Symbiote.
-
I have one of each, and it is certainly worth it. Each class plays a bit differently, and requires different play style and strategy. So it makes the grind slightly less tedious in that sense.
-
-
Yes. Absolutely it is. Don't lose out on those random class exotic engrams! And it's just really fun changing up the way you look at the game playing the other styles
-
-
i had 3 level 32 hunters and deleted 2 to make a titan and warlock. Well worth it.
-
I'd go for gameplay variety. I don't see myself playing 3 of the same...sounds tedious and boring as hell. That's just me though, if you do it you stated your good reasons. But I wouldn't do 3 of the same no matter what. Creating 3 different characters it's a hassle indeed but totally worth it. Do what you want not what we say...if you want to keep your 3 warlocks then stick to that and if you really want to enter what you're missing for than go for it.

If you play enough to get them all to 32 yes. It will allow you to have a balanced skill and make your opinion on all classes
-
I've got one of each, all have there pros and cons.
-
I personally did all three
-
It is more fun to do all the classes IMO
-
Just saw your edit. The exotic armors that you should look out for are Titan: 1. Ruin wings 2. The Armamentarium 3. Helm of Saint-14 4. Helm of Inmost Light. Hunter: 1. Achlyophage Symbiote 2. Mask of the Third Man 3. Crest of Alpha Lupi (This is better than Light Beyond Nemesis or the titan version, because hunters seem to fit the role better.).
