Is it worth making one of each class?
I'm getting tired of playing as a warlock on all three of my characters and was wondering if it was worth it to delete two of them to make a titan and a hunter. I run three warlocks in order to maximize my chances of getting full raid gear, and I am trying to decide if adding some gameplay variety is more valuable. Any thoughts?
EDIT: So it looks like a resounding yes for killing off my warlock clones! I'm going to make a hunter and titan once I get the crux to drop for me, and because of all of you I'm pretty excited for the change in pace. Moving forward, what exotics and stat builds should I be looking for on my new hunter and titan?
EDIT 2: I'm level 30 now with my hunter and will start a titan once i hit 32. I'm loving the different supers and playstyle, no regrets about making the switch. Thanks again y'all!

I have one of each and for some reason I just can not bond with my Titan I guess it's just not me.

I've got one of each and it is much more satisfying being able to change. I always thought I played as a decent hunter until I made a titan, now the titan is easily my favourite, the shoulder change alone is amazballs!

self satisfaction for me. although i do love hopping character to character every week, its a blast using all the supers and stuff

F yeah! They all have cons but really cool pros too. Running 3 of the same just for raid gear sounds boring.

I had all three but I never played the warlock so I made another titan as they're my fave. I think having two of one and one of another is a good compromise.

I've one of each and there's no bad or good class they all have different attributes. Go for it so you can mix it up.

Yeh do it man! Only delete one of your warlocks and fully level him before you make another character. Otherwise you'll miss out on some raiding

Try all three, if you don't like the other two...go back to warlocks. Save the gear so you can just give it back to them.

Yes. Why not? Each class has characteristics that make them unique. I have one of each and it is great fun to play as each to switch things up. Started as a warLock but currently enjoying playing as a Titan and Hunter.

I did it and haven't looked back, I think it is fun. You might also find another character is better to be as well but it will at least freshen the game whilst you are waiting for HoW. However, I was lucky enough to have all lege armour and an exotic for both my characters before I started to level so I insta jumped to 26 and 28. ( before and after DLC) Also you might have forgotten the grind for Hadronic Essence early on but remember a legendary armour takes 50 plates / wire and an exotic is 100 - 125. Considering you earn 1-3 per piece sharded, that is a lot to get.

Once you have two different toons maxed you will delete another to try out the remaining character. I said I'd never have 3 Then I said I'd never have one of each. I was so wrong. Currently experiencing a severe saphire wire drought keeping me from my last 32.

If you can be bothered to grind out strikes for each class so you can get upgrade materials.

Red Death for my max armor defender titan build, since the health regen on kill allows me to play more like a tank Ice Breaker for the sunsinger warlock I'm leveling up for taking it slow and being able to self res if I make a mistake ...waiting on hawkmoon or mida for a hunter run and gun build different styles keep the game fresher, since at the end of the day you just end up playing the same pve content over and over anyway...

I've had three titans...but there is no real reason to be max level so fast...that's why I deleted two of them to make a warlock/hunter. You have "more" to do because you need to get gear for every toon, etc. It's a fight against boredom because the time between the DLC's is way too long.

Definitely do it. It's a slow grind, But it's so much fun and definitely worth it. Not to mention the grimoire, Bragging rights, Subclass achievements/trophies, And the little squeekers basically idolizing you if you can get all 3 classes to at least 30. Finished my Hunter (32) and am now working on my Warlock and Titan, Both lvl 30. The biggest nuisance by far is getting armor upgrade materials (Hadronic Essence, Plasteel Plating), But that's usually only the first few days/weeks. Once you start collecting an abundance the grind becomes soooo much easier.
