I'm getting tired of playing as a warlock on all three of my characters and was wondering if it was worth it to delete two of them to make a titan and a hunter. I run three warlocks in order to maximize my chances of getting full raid gear, and I am trying to decide if adding some gameplay variety is more valuable. Any thoughts?
EDIT: So it looks like a resounding yes for killing off my warlock clones! I'm going to make a hunter and titan once I get the crux to drop for me, and because of all of you I'm pretty excited for the change in pace. Moving forward, what exotics and stat builds should I be looking for on my new hunter and titan?
EDIT 2: I'm level 30 now with my hunter and will start a titan once i hit 32. I'm loving the different supers and playstyle, no regrets about making the switch. Thanks again y'all!

I have one of each and find them all fun for various reason.

Edited by gsmlima: 3/24/2015 1:43:58 PMMy third character is my extra vault space.

Have one of each, I enjoy playing all of them, use all of them for weekly & nightfalls. Also do a raid with all three each week. The group we run with rotates so we always have at least one of each class & normally two in case someone dies.
-
Adds variety. I would recommend deleting one warlock, do a Titan or hunter, and when you max that one out, delete another warlock to do the third class. That way you can do two nightfalls/raids etc each week

No life people
-
of course it is, how else will you know a classes weakness if you dont experience it first hand

Started off as a warlock, thoroughly enjoy playing him. I think warlocks are just a bit more classy. Eventually made a hunter, surely a different way to play, they're pretty bad ass. I haven't used my warlock since my hunter hit 32.
-
No. Make two of your favorites ( titan or warlock ) and the other one you don't have yet. Just don't make a hunter and you'll be fine.

I started with warlock. Decided to make a Titan & was not disappointed. To me they're fun to use because they're a "in your face" kind of class.

Edited by STYLIN33: 3/24/2015 1:33:39 PMIt's well worth it , I have 3x32's all different characters. I started as a Warlock and received a heap of Titan gear so levelled it up . The same happened to my Titan I found Hunter gear. As soon as I reached lvl 20 I put on my legendary gear I was lvl 26 before I knew it. I now have over 150 coins recently spent 100 coins on heavy ammo . I made sure every stage or lvl I did had a modifier on it . Easier chance getting every exotic

Edited by sergeantawesome: 3/24/2015 1:23:14 PMNever had multiple of the same class, so no idea how to compare, but I imagine it would be very repetitive. 3 different ways to play with 3 different classes. I actually hated the warlock until a few weeks ago, now my first class (and originally favorite) is I think my least favorite: the hunter. Even if you don't like one of the others, you can still have fun though. It's nice being able to fill in gaps when needed.

It gives u different ways to play the game, I say delete one warlock level up a hunter/Titan then delete a second for the hunter/Titan

Edited by Zoop: 3/24/2015 1:08:03 PMI had 3 titans up til i had lvl32 gear for each of them, got boring really quick. Made 2 hunters next. And after that 1 warlock. I do recommend focussing on one new class, youll have more chances for gear and you wont spread yourself too thin. If you got one (almost) fully levelled char, and the other two are nowhere close, you might end up still only using your high level one. Farm some engrams, keep all stuff not for your current class (especially legendaries ofcourse, even though rare can be helpful too). And make 2 of the same new chars. Thats what i would recommend. As a warlock, you shouldnt have much trouble trying out titan. But id recommend hunter, because it is so different

I got all 3 and I feel like it's needed to change up the monotony of doing same things over and over
-
I think so, different classes for different situations and it's fun to mix it up. I'm going to start a warlock build today
-
Yea, just do one at a time. I would erase my lock and make another Titan if there wasn't a slight benefit to having all 3.
-
Most definitely worth it.
-
It definitely is
-
-
Yes, because it gives you more playing time. Also if someone needs a person with a different class and super, like a self res warlock, than you could switch.
-
It extends the life of the game having one of each
-
-
Yes, it's funner than making the same classes and it takes more work.
-
It makes you a better overall player to have to change your play styleup with the different characters. I had two titans and a hunter for awhile but grew bored and made a warlock. I got the gear for level 32 in two raids, and my helmet on my third time. It's so much fun nova bombing with OM/bad juju or spamming grenades with hopf. My titan is a beast and I keep his armor and recovery up high to be a tank, I have taken hits on PVE where my teammates are surprised I stayed alive. Stryker is a blast and defender is a gresr asset to your team.

I have one of each and for some reason I just can not bond with my Titan I guess it's just not me.
