I'm getting tired of playing as a warlock on all three of my characters and was wondering if it was worth it to delete two of them to make a titan and a hunter. I run three warlocks in order to maximize my chances of getting full raid gear, and I am trying to decide if adding some gameplay variety is more valuable. Any thoughts?
EDIT: So it looks like a resounding yes for killing off my warlock clones! I'm going to make a hunter and titan once I get the crux to drop for me, and because of all of you I'm pretty excited for the change in pace. Moving forward, what exotics and stat builds should I be looking for on my new hunter and titan?
EDIT 2: I'm level 30 now with my hunter and will start a titan once i hit 32. I'm loving the different supers and playstyle, no regrets about making the switch. Thanks again y'all!

Id say yes, its pretty fun because each class play different and forces you to use different tactics for nightfall and raids (ie. You can play more aggressively with a titan or warlock and if you try that with a hunter, while its possible you definitely feel the increase in damage input) also you can complement different teams (ie. When they need a hunter swordbearer or a defender titan for crota)

Going thru the story two more times would be hard

-
Once you get a full set of raid gear switch it up!
-
Yes, it's a great expierence!
-
-
It's rewarding in its own way, however there is ALWAYS a benefit to learning how other characters play and then conversely how your teammates can help you in raids or how enemies have a leg up in certain areas in PvP. It's all around good knowledge, if nothing else.

Delete 2 Make 2 Titans Max level 1 Delete 1 Titan Make Hunter Play it when you're capped for the other two ??? Profit.
-
Like others have said it will add a newness to the game. I mained a Hunter for probably 4 months before I created a Warlock. Then I really started to like that character as he got leveled up. Once I got him to 32 I started a Titan about a month ago and am a raid chest piece or exotic chest away from 32 with him. My Titan is pretty much my favorite now. It was a grind but definitely worth it. I like having the flexibility of bringing whichever character my team needs me to bring into nightfalls and Raids.
-
I have all 3 and I love it. I say go for it.
-
Personally I love the ability to change to a different play style. Running three different characters may not be ideal for the grind, but it adds a certain level of freshness to the stale activities by making you think about how to approach the scenario with different abilities.
-
I enjoy all 3 and play which ever character my team needs. It requires a little more work to get them leveled but well woth the effort. I can see where having 3 of the same has it's advantages where you only need one set of good gear. Although the lack of variety must get boring after a while.
-
Hell yes. Deleted my second Hunter for a titan a while back and now Titan is my favorite class.
-
Go for it! You may get less chances for raid gear but it's more fun
-
Yes it's worth it but relearning the which jump you are using every time you switch characters is interesting.
-
In my opinion, yes. I didn't do so until after TDB came out and have no regrets about it. Of course, there is one class that I wish I hadn't created after playing with it, but that's ok. It makes Raids require a different strategy due to different capabilities of your characters, making it more intriguing.

If you have a good amount of gear saved up for the other classes. You can farm more effectively with 3 lock atm. I would suggest to farm a good amount of gear (coins, exotics, leg. engrams) then delete the extra locks and level up.

I was in same situation - 3 warlocks. Got very bored so deleted 2 and made hunter and Titan. The game is very refreshing and fun again. Looking forward to having all roles in HoW. It's easy - just get both new characters to access bounty level (4 I think), and do the daily and bounties leads every day while doing the story missions. Both times I got my characters to 20 before even finishing Venus

I just recently made two secondaries all different classes (and races). To be honest i like having all three really lets you have different play styles so you dont get bored quickly
-
Just did this and yes it is :)
-
It's definitely worth it, if not for fun than for the educational experience. Playing each class teaches you the strengths and weaknesses of each class. This is most definitely worth it in PVP. You can read threads all day on how to counter this or that but will never fully grasp it until you know the class you are going against inside and out. Even if you aren't into PvP it helps with PvE as well and it also breathes new life into the game.
-
Yeah try out all three classes. See which one or ones best fit you. If all three are your favorite, then shiet, even better for you.
-
Not worth making the same character again. Have the whole set and just be patient with the RNG gods
-
I strongly recommend you try all classes before you make 3 of the same.
-
I orginally started woth two titans. Then a warlock. Then two hunters. Never went back to titan. Love hunter cuz ya gotta be a little smarter playing otherwise ur dead quick. Just my opinion tho.
-
I have one of each and find them all fun for various reason.
