You aren't alone. As fun as Destiny is, lack of content/story vs grind/replay value can be a deal breaker for this franchise.
I know I'm not alone when I say reset my exotics again to square one, then see you later. Making us regrind our gear all over again is not adding more content.

They had better not make the same mistake with HoW, in which they made us reset our exotics to upgrade them. They also better not make the vanguard stuff better than the crota raid or I will flip my shit. Yes I agree completely with what you said untill I got the thorn bounty (hard as hell by the way) two days ago there was nothing left for my character to do. Creating a new character doesn't count.
