Also true, I believe that this should be changed but I think that it could be done in a much smarter way, similar to the weekly knightfall mission which gives a boost to xp earned. A daily or weekly mission or set of matches (say three matches) in a specific mode need to be complete (not won) this gives a x2 boost to crucible rep and marks earned (completing the mission would also give between 100 or 400 rep depending on if it was daily or weekly). Alternatively like in the iron banner a mote of light maybe a strange coin( now that it is open to all with the mm for the weekly strike(, to buy an item that gives this boost would be great. Crucible is meant not for grinding it is mean to be fun (for some). I probably pick-up or gain 2-3 motes of light everyday i play for an hour or two so it would be fair. And if people want the crucible to last longer then just don't pick up the booster. Bungie need to think more about making the game accessible to all players not just the hardcore grinders that have been at it since day one.
