Thorn buff to powerful
Look I love multi player and the game all around but something must be done. The thorn has easily become the most powerful gun. Most powerful to the point that its cheap. The gun is so unfair in pvp that anytime you are in a 1 on 1 battle you will loose to the thorn, Unless he misses 2 shoots. Which is highly unlikely given the fact they boosted the stability as well. The gun is widely known to be powerful therfore it is being overused and abused. Every march I join now more then half of the players are using this cheap monster. I like diversity in my game playing and don't want to have to be forced to utilize 1 cheap piece of equipment just so im not out guned. Please bungie fix this cause it is destroying the fun of pvp for me. Remember pvp is supposed to be a level and balanced playing field, not a 1 sided event. P.s. I have thorn it is not hard to get. It took me 7 to 10 matches in the iron banner to get. Not difficult.

4 RepliesSorry your complaint should be against shotguns. People that can string headshots with hand cannons typically have legitimate skill. Thorn is how all weapons should be. Effective if the right players hands. That's how SUROS was, it was effective but not for everyone. The only guns that are cheap are the ones that don't require aiming or accuracy yet can still get instant kills, not two shot, but instant kills. Even without the burn thorn would be a solid performing hand cannon with the right user yet people would still complain about its 80 damage per headshot. (Not a lot for hand cannons) Hand cannons are not over accurate (and haven't ever been) players have to manually move the sites and readjust. Nerf posts now piss me off beyond anything because now thanks to these posts auto rifles are useless and have 0 practicality for uses in pve or in pvp. My beloved hawkmoons sites are worthless because of an accuracy nerf that makes you pretty much intentionally miss where you are actually aiming sooooo yeaaaa.
