Your coins should turn up eventually. You don't actually lose items when you transfer items.

Edited by M355y: 3/31/2015 6:09:35 PMI didn't get the coins back nor were they with any of my characters. It happened again last Friday 25 coins turned into 13 coins. Have changed my passwords and I am taking a screen capture of my inventory after each session. Not that I expect Bungie to do anything about it. :-(

Sorry to hear about that. If you are transferring them using the vault then I would say to stop using it. I hope you get your coins back eventually.

Yeah I stopped transferring coins after the first incident, so it was't that. Am waiting to see what happens this week. 18 coins at the moment (sort of lost my mojo for the game).

Building off what you said, I would suggest checking all characters and your vault, restarting destiny, and checking again.
